Established April 2005, by the Town of Montgomery, the Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) is an advisory unit of municipal government. The CAC provides pertinent environmental information to aid in the decision making process of the governing body. The CAC is a member of NYSAC.

Meeting Information
Conservation Advisory Council(CAC)general meetings are held once a month on the 2nd Wednesday with additional work sessions scheduled as needed.
Meetings are on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm Town Hall 110 Bracken Road Montgomery, NY 12549

- To conduct an environmental resource inventory within the Town of Montgomery.
- To conduct an ongoing program of public information in the community to increase the understanding of environmental resources.

All meetings are open to the public and we welcome new participants. You don't have to be an expert on the environment--you just have to have an interest and be willing to work!
