LEGAL NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Annual Election of the Maybrook Fire District will take place on December 8, 2009, between the hours of 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the Maybrook Fire House, Volunteer Place, Maybrook, NY for the purpose of electing (1) commissioner for a five-year term commencing on January 1, 2010 and ending on December 31,2014. All residents of the Maybrook Fire District duly registered with the Orange County Board of Elections as of November 16, 2009 shall be eligible to vote.

Candidates for the office of the Fire Commissioner shall file their names, together with a petition subscribed by twenty-five qualified voters of the District with Secretary Golden on or before November 18,2009 by delivering same to the Maybrook Fire District Office, 204 Wallace Avenue, Maybrook, NY by calling 427-9930 for an appointment.

Blank forms of petitions may be obtained at the Maybrook Fire District Office, 204 Wallace Avenue, Maybrook, NY, Monday through Friday, by calling 427-9930 for an appointment.
