Mr. Gorss has always been active in our Community which includes: Past President of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, Former Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Town of Montgomery Republican Committee, Former member of the Orange County Republican Executive Committee, Former Orange County School Mock Trial Tournament Judge, Former Adjunct Instructor at Orange County Community College, Former Member of the American Arbitration Association, President of the Riverside Cemetery, and A Life-Long Member of the First Presbyterian Church of Montgomery. Every year, Mr. Gorss conducts Mock Trials for Students at Valley Central. In 1974, as an Attorney he started his Career working as an Associate of Clifford M. Barber, Esq. and later became a Partner. In 1982, he opened his own Law Office. Mr. Gorss' experience covers a broad range of legal areas. Mr. Gorss has been admitted to practice in The New York State Courts, United States District Courts, Southern, Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Supreme Court. His professional Associations include: New York State Magistrates Association, Orange County Magistrates Association, New York State Bar Association and Orange County Bar Association. As a Justice:

Frederick G. Gorss was born and raised in our Town of Montgomery, and has been an Attorney here for 30 years, a Judge for the Town of Montgomery for 8 years and Acting Justice of the Village of Walden for 7 years.
